A pass certificate will be issued upon successful completion. Only persons having 11 points or less can sit for this test. Where the driving licence has been revoked for the first time, the driver shall return his driving licence to Transport Malta. Provided that such a message is displayed no later than 60 minutes after the sprint qualifying session or the race has finished the driver or drivers concerned may not leave the circuit without the consent of the stewards. The driver must enter the pit lane, stop in his pit stop position for at least five seconds and then re-join the sprint qualifying session or the race.
The relevant driver may however elect not to stop, provided he carries out no further pit stop before the end of the sprint qualifying session or the race. In such cases five seconds will be added to the elapsed the sprint qualifying session or race time of the driver concerned.

If any of the four 4 penalties above are imposed upon a driver, and that driver is unable to serve the penalty due to retirement from the sprint qualifying session or the race, the stewards may impose a grid place penalty on the driver at his next race. However, unless the driver was already in the pit entry for the purpose of serving his penalty, he may not carry out the penalty if the VSC procedure is in use or after the safety car has been deployed. In addition to the penalties listed in these tables, alcohol highway safety school will be required for first or second offenses at any level of impairment. First-time and repeat DUI offenders with high blood alcohol levels and individuals who receive an operating privilege suspension as a result of a chemical test refusal violation will be required to have an Ignition Interlock system installed in any motor vehicle to be operated.
An individual with an Ignition Interlock requirement who seeks restoration of their operating privilege is required, as a condition of issuing a restricted license, to either have any motor vehicle to be operated equipped with an Ignition Interlock system and remain so for the duration of the restricted license period or, if there are no motor vehicles owned, registered, or to be operated, to certify in accordance with PennDOT's regulations.
You may also be required by the court to undergo an alcohol abuse screening and treatment at any level of impairment for first and subsequent offenses. Additionally, a judge may impose up to hours of community service. If you are under 21 years of age and you are convicted of driving under the influence your BAC is. The charge of ungraded misdemeanor means if you contest the case you are not entitled to a jury trial. The Zero Tolerance law establishes serious consequences for those under 21 who drive with any measurable amount of alcohol in their blood.
