The Firefox Bookmarks are usually used to bookmark websites rather than hard disk locations, although there is nothing to stop you bookmarking hdd files.
The bookmarks are then used to navigate to sites with firefox. As John99 has noted, Firefox stores your personal data in a separate personal folder inside your user account. You can overwrite this file into the same folder structure on the other PC. This would restore both bookmarks and history. The bookmarks also have automatic dated backups in the bookmarks folder.
