Yes, I'm not blind. In terms of graphics they're among the best. But on the downside, the trade-off is the fact that they're shockingly linear. You really can't deny that. For all the talk of blu-ray and whatnot, I'm really not seeing massive games that are packed to the brim with features.
Where's a sandbox game with a world that makes Just Cause 2 look laughably small? Wheres an fps packed with countless features and open tactical battlefields? But when it comes to content they're surprisingly lacking. Damn, I just left myself open to both sets of fanboys. What multi-platform game has set whatever bar this guy is talking about?
He isn't impressed by any of the PS3 exclusives, but is impressed by games that are no where near as impressive as their PC counterparts. You're loving your too much. And you never played KZ2 if you say it was a corridor shooter. Console preferences don't matter to me, playing great games do. As long as you have fun playing the games, that's all that should matter in the end. The psp is more powerful than ds The x and gamecube are more powerful than ps2 The 3do is more powerful than snes it is what game you want to play and your preference.
Look, super Mario galaxy 2 will likely win goty, and it is neither on ps3 nor x Who decided that the PS3 and are the two best gaming consoles? Not the 73 million Wii owners I take it?
Don't get me wrong, I actually prefer the PS3 and to Wii, but to claim one is objectively better than the other is pretty silly. Also, I like how they list "total system bandwidth" for the as being Why don't we list L1 and L2 cache bandwidth on the Cell? It'd be every bit as meaningless.
This whole article is very poorly written, as it appears to have been translated to English through babelfish or something. I wrote a Fair Comparison before, but of course, no decision was made; it's about personal opinion when you think about it, each system has strengths the other doesn't, some are really obvious. This is just what we needed I have never, ever seen an article comparing the to the ps3 before! It's about freakin time! Both consoles are good, but the PS3 is the one for me.
The only games I like on my is ME and Gears is pretty good. If you have to pick one pick the one where your frinds are at. If friends is not an issue then go with the one that has the games YOU want.
Both are so great, you cant go wrong. Awesome SP best looking game on any console best animations on any console. GOW3 is a singleplayer game and the series always has been that way. Killzone2 excellent looking game with nice physics and nice maps, but yes some things were wrong with it. But as time tells, things get better. Halo has been going along time and has more features, as does COD games.
Not all games are about the same thing. I love MP. Sony and their stupid push for 3D. It's a clear choicethe is made for hardcore gamers I recently signed up to be a member of n4g but all I see is parties whaling back n forth which one better boo-hoo.. When this generation started i was with Xbox and they had great everything.. When the ps3 dropped price I went with them until now.. When the halo xbox bundle release that will be my console of choice.. It's all about preference..
PS3 make some of the most amazing games that truly defines this generation.. You can do more with your hdd such as import music mp3,wma,aac etc and movies avi,mp4,mov,divx,etc wh ich more useful then xbox importing.. The reason why I'm switching is because of playstation plus mainly and other reasons.. I'm upset with sony that after all these years since ps3 launch of hearing their fans about what we wanted to see in the online "service" and overall ps3 experience in general they didn't listen as much as they should have Maybe they were to busy putting in updates for the blu ray and multimedia side instead of the gaming side the "true side" and it's "success factor" not movies and codecs and sh!
Playstation plus isn't an exlusive service it's more of a discount price shop for members Sams Club or something.. A lot of people ask whether its worth it?
Simple answer.. Well when you ask "worth it" I tend to think ppl are looking for a good bargain like I previously stated "Discount Price Shop For Members".. The closes thing to a service is letting the player try a game for a hour.. Now, an example of an service is and SONY you can keep this..
Remember earlier in this comment I stated an advantage was that ps3 allows for music and videos in many formats to be stored on the hdd.. Well why not take advantage of that gift which xbox lacks.. Sharing experiences with friends online is key to this generation. PS3 makes some of the most technological blockbusters this generation has seen but if we can't share them experiences whats the point.. To be continued.. Both systems have their strengths and weaknesses, it's up to the individual to choose what weaknesses they can live with.
Which one is better is an opinion not fact and opinions can be argued til we're all dust.. EX: Scientology vs. You have to take in account which games are fun to play overall gameplay , the replay value being able to play the game over n over once completed , and the online experience.. Bottom Line, I look at gaming consoles in two forms which they evolved to become.. Gaming and Multimedia.. If your a person who only looks to game then the Xbox would be the choice..
The Xbox is the better gaming console because it covers all three categories fun games, most replay value, and online experience.. Which on paper sounds great but bottom line is..
IS the game fun? Can I play it over and over? Can I share these memorable experiences with friends? Sony is a hardware company Microsoft is a software co. Ps3: Free internet multiplayer, plays blu rays. Funny how every xbox fanboy uses the fact that we got hacked big time. I'm sorry that we got hacked by the same people who hacked into government databases. Xbox couldn't be hacked by those people could they?
They didn't attempt. It's ignorant of you to say they couldn't hack xbox. I have both. And exclusives are even some good some bad. Personally I prefer xbox. Due to the fact that the ps3 takes soooo long to download and worst of all install games.
Other than that graphically there is not enough difference. If someone wants graphics buy a pc. A true gamer buys all. Fan boys can suck me.
